- Salvation of the soul is the greatest blessing God has bestowed upon man. Pray that as many as God has foreknown and predestined to conform to the image of His son Jesus will, in this month of January, hear and answer the Lord’s call and surely receive the blessing of the Holy Spirit and none of them shall be lost. (Rom 8:29-30; John 14:16-17; 17:12)
- Pray that indeed there will be a quick work of redemption and salvation in the nations as people turn to the Lord and receive Him in their lives.
- Pray that the church will be prepared more quickly to receive the harvest and disciple them. Pray that God will expose the church to new and more efficient ways of training and discipleship.
- Pray that God will work on the minds, hearts and spirits of His people in such a way that they will be more receptive to receive greater volumes of His word, be quick to lead others and desire to lead a diligent life just like the early church in Acts.
- Pray for the quick manifestation of God’s blessings both physically and spiritually for Africa and for the church as a whole. These blessings will cause the knowledge of the glory of the Lord to fill the earth. (Hab 2:3b, 14; Isa 11:9b)
