PRAYING THROUGH THE MONTH OF JUNE

The month of June is the fourth (4th) Jewish sacred calendar month called Tammuz (Ezekiel 8). It is also reckoned as the tenth (10th) month following the Jewish civil calendar. According to the Gregorian calendar, June is the sixth (6th) month.

The spring season has come to an end and the summer is beginning to peak.  It is a time of harvest in the northern hemisphere but the sowing season and the rainy or winter season in the southern hemisphere toward the tropic of Capricorn.

The sun will be directly overhead the tropic of cancer resulting in the summer solstice or high summer falling in June too. That will be the longest day and the shortest night. There are a number of ungodly mythological celebrations that take place in that season.

What the devils Crowd are doing at this time, it is a warfare you cannot ignore!

The Ungodly Mythology surrounding the month of June includes the story of Tammuz the sun-god who is in charge of fertility.  In Egypt he was known as Osiris, to the Greeks he was called Adonis (a name derived from the Phoenician and Hebrew word for “Lord”). His consort or spouse was the goddess Ishtar (Astarte or Ashtoreth). The worship of these gods involved licentious (immoral, lustful, immodest or shameless) rites. Adonis’ death is said to set off the onset of winter while his restoration symbolizes the return of the sun. Celebration marking this were made during the summer solstice, first with lamentation then wild revelry.

According to Roman mythology, June was named after the Roman goddess Juno. Juno is believed to be sister (but also the wife) of the chief god Jupiter and the mother of Juventas, Mars and Vulcan. She is said to be “queen of the gods. Am sure you know a foot ball tem whose name is near one of these! The first day in each month of the year is dedicated to Juno. She was also the protector and special counselor of the Roman state.  As the patron goddess of Rome and the Roman Empire, she was called Regina (\”queen\”) and, together with Jupiter and another deity Minerva, they were worshipped as a triad on the Capitol (Juno Capitolina) in Rome.

Many people consider the month of June, which is named after the goddess Juno the patroness of marriage, to be the most favorable time to marry. Lucina was a nick-name for Juno as \”she who brings children into light’. In Greek mythology she is called “Hera.” the goddess responsible for women, marriage and married life. This is the reason the world do what they do! Do not follow their examples and traps

WERE YOU BORN IN JUNE?

  • Bless that day of your birth and declare that God’s purposes for which He allowed you to manifest on that particular day will be fulfilled.
  • Nullify anything that has been released into creation to withhold you from fulfilling your redemptive purpose.
  • Declare that you are entering into your lifestyle of ever increasing glory and awe
  • Pray that your star will rise and shine ever brighter. Anything that has hitherto tried to cover your star will be swept away by God’s broom of destruction.
  • Pray that on the day of your birth, God will re-enact the covenant with creation on your behalf. He will speak to the heavens and the heavens will speak to the earth and the earth will bring forth its best for you – with bread wine and oil.
