Specific Blessings for Cheshvan: November 2016. The Eighth Month of the Hebrew Year 5777

November 2016

  • The month of Manasseh (to forget, to leap up and away). Just like the meaning of Manasseh’s name (Gen. 41:51), God blesses us so we can forget the hardships and sufferings. We have to be careful in this month—ask the Lord how to maneuver through the activity that goes on. Remember Jesus, “who for the joy that was set before Him endured” (Heb. 12:2). Get hold of our messages on the Tribe of Manasseh from FMI Media. Move on to full stature.
  • We tread on serpents and scorpions in this month reserved for the Messiah.
  • This is month of the Noah’s flood (one year and 10 days). The flood began in Cheshvan and ended in Cheshvan  the next year. We will see the flood moving in our circumstances but we will always see the dove rise above and the arch of the Lord.
  • A month reserved for the anointing. This can make it easy or hard. The anointing will break the yoke (Isa. 10:27), but the oil within has to be pressed out. So, rejoice even though circumstances may be very pressing.
  • Read, hear, study and meditate on memorized portions in Genesis 7-9.
  • A month to deal with hardships, trials, and tribulations, by receiving the anointing. Let your pain transform or metamorphose into something usable for God’s plan for your life. We are not exempt from bad times, but we can be transformed by the renewing of our minds, no matter what we go through (Rom. 12:1–2). If we are of the world, all we can do is conform (like children of Belial). We have the power and the blood of Jesus flowing through us so we can be transformed.
  • Therefore, ask the Lord to purge your soul of envy, bitterness, complaining, and self-seeking (James 3:13–16). These are easy to enter into, and quickly become strongholds that hinder us from being conformed into the image of Jesus. Review the life of Moses so that you understand how anger stops your developmental process (Moses was born during this month).
  • A month of connecting of roots. You need to deal with root issues; it’s a time for deliverance.
  • The month of smell. During this month, the soul responds in unusual ways. Smell affects soul, not just the body. The fragrance of God can really permeate the soulish nature (2 Cor. 2:14–16) and change us and others around us.
  • The myrrh or myrtle month. The myrtle tree is very fragrant and can be thought of us symbolizing prophetic promise. Isaiah 55:13 states, “Instead of the briar shall come up the myrtle tree.”
  • A month to smell the awe of God. Ask the Lord for the fragrance of the Holy Spirit to emanate from you.
  • You will begin to really see colors. This month’s color is violet, which often stands for passion for God. Passion helps us receive revelation.
  •  The enemy wants to release some strategies around you to hinder you. So, this may be a time to push all boundaries. But remember that Jesus trampled on the snake. We can and must do the same (Rom. 16:20).
  • The month of Hebrew letter nun (נ). This letter looks like a boundary and refers to light, which although confined by the boundaries of nature, permeates into the end of things to produce a new sound for the beginning.
  • Contend for a new anointing this month, . This is the month to get your heel on the enemy’s plan. We need to cry out for the anointing. See 1 Corinthians 2:1–5. Through forgiveness you can obtain victory over all the schemes of the devil.
  •  The month of fine digestion. There is an ability to dissect and assimilate things.
  • A month that you have to war with words. This should be the month you yell, “I am satisfied.” This should push out the words that are dissatisfying. Words that are not spoken right can go down into your innermost being. Those who suffer from stomach trouble may have consumed the wrong words.
