JESUS IS THE HEAD OF THE YEAR

Introduction

When we know what the is saying at any time then we can prosper. The voice of God is so important beyond anything else so we can move in the right direction.

We need to know the time and what kingdom citizens should do (2 Chron.12:22-32). What is God saying in the New Year? Israel used God’s calendar. The early Church used God’s Calendar. In the dark ages the church people switched to the Roman calendars (pagan Romans) God did not switch. God works through times and seasons (Ecc.3) Every season is different. If you are trying to do the same thing in every season, then it is obvious you might not likely be walking in God’s blessing. We need to discern in every season what God is doing and what God wants to do.

God speaks in divers ways, such as through the bible, dreams, as we pray in the spirit, and encoded revelation in His calendar.

In Hebrew numbers are also letters. The following is a simplified chart:

Therefore, the year 5777 is a set of letters and these letters tell things prophetically.

5700 – this means- May it is the year of..

70 – ע- Ayin

7 –  ז -Zayin

The numbers biblically are important 5- the number of grace; 7- stands for completion. A triple 7 then stands for perfection.

The Ayin season is a season of better understanding and looking. It is season to “look again”. Now hear the word of the Lord.

1. The Ayin season is a supernatural season. Ayin is related to Irin-Angels-Watchers. In this year angelic activity will increase and the battle will intensify. There is war taking place in the spirit realm and God wants us to understand it and know we have help.

It is angelic warfare. As we face life’s problem God is saying we have powerful allies. Please align your life with God’s purpose. Angels are ready to contend with any enemy. As move forward the angels will be there to back you up! Amen.

1. In the Hebrew numbering system given above, Ayin is 70 – that is a significant number!

70 is a number that represents empower and release. In Numbers 11 we find how God poured out the Spirit upon the 70 elders of Israel and they prophesied. In Luke 10-Jesus sent out the 70 to heal the sick cast out demons and proclaims the kingdom. This is a season to receive the spirit power and move forward in faith to see signs and wonders!

1. Zayin is a picture of the sword. This is a warning to expect warfare this year in both the physical and spiritual realm. There will be a clash of swords this year. It is a year of shaking. There will be war. Zayin words include-winnow, shake, agitation, tremble, quake earthquake; boil up seethe, storm, rage.
2. It is a year the sword of the enemy will rise but it is also a year Jesus rises as a mighty warrior. He goes forth as conquerors and warrior to break the power of the Enemy-God wants to break the cycles of the enemy in your life this year!
3. Zayin is a CROWNED letter which pictures a coronation, a crowning or new authority, so the Lord is going to bring to some a coronation, anew authority and a crowning that has long eluded them. Coronation is when hope becomes reality.
4. Zayin is related to Gold, abundance, fullness and sustenance. The tribe of Zebulon is connected to the word Zayin. The tribe is known for great prosperity in business, begin to ask God for strategies to prosper this year.
5. Zayin is a royal SCEPTER. It is year to expect favour from a king. That you will come a king. A year to pray with confidence and boldness like ESTHER. The story of Esther will take significance this year. God will remove every Vashti as Esther prepared and entered a process of submission, humbling herself to do what she did not want to do. But in the end it produced coronation. Thus says the Lord all the years that hope lingered, it is now time of fulfilment do not miss your opportunity.
6. ZAYIN IS HEBREW NUMBER 7. The 7^th letter of the Hebrew alphabet is Zayin. A scepter is a staff held in the hand being a symbol of authority of a king. In the coronation of a king, we see them present with a staff of office. It is the staff or rod of royalty. An insignia of royal power defined by the emblem on the top of the same staff-an emblem of creative power or productive authority. The ornaments atop the same staff indicates or represents the deific power its carrier worshipped. So scepter pertain to spiritual dominion, eagle like supremacy, immortality, wisdom possessed or revelation possessed by the nearer of the scepter. This is given as SIGN of governmental authority.
7. There are 7 declarations in the New Testament that Jesus is KING! i)Matt2:2with Matt 27:37; ii)Matt 5:35; iii)Mark 15:32 with Jn. 1:49;iv)1 Tim1:17; v)Hebrews 5:5,6; vi) Rev. 15:3; vii)Rev 19:16.

These link Him with royalty and sovereign Power-Gen 49:10. We are kings and priests in Him. The scepter shall not depart from Judah. This year many will be exercising authority in many realms –business, education, technology; family; faith; Government; Evangelism etc.. The bible said the descendants (Zera=Seed) of David would be the king. (2 Sam 7:12). Genesis 1:11, Gen. 12:7 and Gal. 3:16 speaks of the seed and in the case of Jesus the seed is singular. So we have right to have authority in this season and going forward. The promises must flow through us. Zera is a Zayin word because Zayin first occurs in the bible in Gen.1:11. 7 is very frequently used in scripture in significant ways and significant places. This is the seal of God in the bible.  In the creation account the phrase “And God said” occurs 9 times in Genesis 1. Therefore 9=3×3. The numeric value of the Hebrew letter of “And God said” is 343= 7x7x7! So whatever God says is 3 times perfect and unbelievers have themselves to blame.

In Psalms 24:8 we read “Who is the king of glory?” Of course our answer is Jesus-the king of glory! The Hebrew text has a numeric value of 189=7×27 or 7x3x3x3 or 63×3 meaning that 189 is divisible by 7 and 3. These two numbers are most common in scripture and very significant. 3 is the number of indivisibility-indivisible power. There many such examples in creation account Gen.1: -2:3; Isa 2; Psalm 118:21. It is worthy of note of 3 or 7 or 37 in scripture.

These are very authentic and relates to our salvation and the power it carries. It is very sorrowful for those who are not born of God and growing and/or know they must carry authority and keep mounting up with wings as eagles.

1. Zayin is the year of the Holy Spirit.

Expect the move of the Holy Spirit to intensify this year. Many new moves of the Holy Spirit have begun in ZAYIN years. In prophecy we look as history as well that God repeats Himself. In the 18^th century the Holy Spirit fell in a Zayin year in Herrmut, Germany-it was a worldwide revival.

Azusa Street revival was in a Zayin year with worldwide impact. The Jesus movement was in a Zayin year. 50 years ago-1967-a Zayin year-the Messianic Jewish Movement was born. Expect the Holy Spirit to do a NEW THING in 5777.

1. 5777 will be a year of the RIVER- speaking of the outpouring of the holy spirit. Watch the dams break!. In the natural make sure your house is not prone to floods(seriously). The river of the Holy Spirit will rise.
2. Zerubbabel is a Zayin word. God raised someone to restore Israel and Jerusalem called Zerubbabel from ruins.. Let this be the year of Zerubbabel where formerly devastated areas are invaded by the Zoë-carrying army of God to rebuild the ruins.
3. The Lord will use Zayin-7 to divide your time. God uses 7 to divide up circles of time. Notice that after 7 days God’s sword comes down to show up a week. 7×7 weeks is Pentecost. 7 months is Tabernacles and 7×7 years is a Jubilee. Some of you will be 49 this year or 50. This the Lord says appointed times are very significant. God says “I will act in significant ways at my appointed times”
4. Zayin is a year to remember! Remember is a Zayin word-it speaks of memorial, remembrance, commemorate or giving of memorial offerings. God’s appointed times are about a memorial. Jesus said do this in remembrance of me.
5. Pay attention and pray for the following Nations associated with Zayin. In Judges-ZEEB, ZEBAH, were princes of MIDIAN-meaning JORDAN;;SAUDI Arabia. In Esther notice ZERESH, ZETHAR-meaning Persia…Iran; IRAQ, JORDAN and SAUDI ARABIA. They will come up in the news. Pray for these Nations in connection to Israel and neighbours. Pray also for Ethiopia and Libya. Already Libya is in the news.
6. In a Zayin year it is a year of the Olive Tree. Romans 11 shows that the gentiles are grafted into the Olive Tree –Israel-ONE NEW MAN. In the Zayin year of 1967-Jerusalem was restored to the Jews in the 6-day war. Jesus said this is a prophetic sign. This is 50 years on, since 1967. The time of the Gentiles are winding up!
7. Finally, it is a year of praise. It is taking God’s revelation back to God as praise. Zayin words include to: EXALT; HONOUR; SACRIFICE; SONGS OF PRAISE. ZAYIN IS LIKE LIGHT REFLECTED BACK TO GOD to illuminate the heavens with praise and worship and rout the enemy.
