- Read Ezek 22, Micah 3:9-12, Isa 1:23, concerning the disorder that attends the human government and gates of society of your territory. Are there cases of government-related bloodshed? Financial corruption? Lawlessness? Ineffective governance? Sexual immorality? Licentiousness? Abuse of office? Examine your territory and bring repentance for each area before Jehovah for these sins that defile the land.
- As a result of the above sins many nations are defiled. The land withholds its yield and famine and hunger visit the land, it begins to vomit out the people and make them vagabonds. They become refugees and political asylum seekers, they become illegal immigrants in other nations, they become squatters in their own land due to land-clashes, there is tribal and racial strife because the earth is defiled with these sins of abuse of power, bloodshed, sexual immorality and idolatry. Do you see instances of these in your land? Bring repentance for the wickedness.
