Pray For The United States of America
Today is the US Independence Day. Independence Day honors the birthday of the United States of America and the adoption of the Declaration of Independence on July 4, 1776.
From the 13 original British colonies, the United States has grown into 50 states and one federal district that together span more than 3.5 million square miles. Their natural environments, populations and other characteristics vary widely, but they all share sovereignty with the federal government and have their own constitution, legislature, judiciary, executive branch and capital city.
With over 312 million people, the United States is the third or fourth largest country by total area, and the third largest by both land area and population. It is one of the world\’s most ethnically diverse and multicultural nations, the product of large-scale immigration from many countries. The U.S. economy is the world\’s largest national economy.
The United States has grown to be the world’s super power. The country accounts for 41% of global military spending and is a leading economic, political, and cultural force in the world. “A sneeze from the US then, will make many countries convulse.”
- Ask for wisdom in operation for President Donald Trump and all in authority in this great country.
- Pray for the protection and safety of the US military that are fighting around the world.
- The values of the founding fathers is being eroded by civilization, freedom, tolerance etc. The church too is not spared. Pray that God will visit the nation again and raise men who will be able to declare the truth come what may.
- Pray also that the body of Christ in America will be a voice of wisdom from the Lord concerning terrorism and violence.
