SUNDAY, OCTOBER 20

  • Read Matt 8:24-27. These are turbulent times morally, financially, politically, socially and even in weather patterns. No matter what turbulence there is in the world, the seasons of Jehovah continue unperturbed.
  • Nature prepares to go into hibernation during this season while men fret and are tossed about. Resting has an inference of trusting.
  • Pray that your trust in Jehovah will increase in this season and you will enter into His rest no matter the circumstances you are in.
  • As you rest in Him, may the great storms bring about a great calm for you, your family and the church at large.
  • Pray that while men’s hearts fail from fear of the unknown, you will rest upon the word of the Lord concerning you and this season – He is doing a new thing in the continent, in you, your family, marriage, business, church, province and nation (Jeremiah 29:11, Luke 21:26,33-36)
  • Pray that the sense of stability will be your portion contrary to anything that anyone or any situation is saying.
  • Pray that He will be the rock upon which you will rest your anchor (Heb 6:19-20, Ps 46:1-3, Ps 18:1-3)
