SONSHIP GIFT
Mark 1:14-15 says, “Now after John was put in prison, Jesus came to Galilee, preaching the gospel of the kingdom of God, and saying, ‘The time is fulfilled, and the kingdom of God is at hand. Repent, and believe in the gospel.’” The King has a Kingdom and He is outlining what that Kingdom is. We have the opportunity to participate in the Kingdom of God and as we do, we are going to have to choose to grow up into him. We walk the way Jesus walked. We must deliberately learn to think the way Jesus thought. Accepting God’s Kingdom is a choice that we must intentionally make when we receive Jesus as our Saviour. And if we do, we are welcomed into the privileges of that Kingdom and have the authority to walk in that place. The question is, are we going to carefully and thoughtfully choose to grow beyond what other generations have done? Are we going to choose to accept the fullness of Christ so we can begin to look and function more like Peter and Paul? The end-time harvest demands the fullness of Christ! We need a reset!
- Praise God for bringing us into the Gregorian year 2021.
- Reflect on all that you know happened in 2020 – the COVID-19 pandemic, the floods, earthquakes, typhoons, bomb blasts, stray bullets, armed robberies, fire outbreaks, plane crashes, kidnappings, suicide bombings etc. etc. etc. ……. yet God saved you and brought you to this new year.
- Praise Him for all the journeys you made (by land, air & sea) last year, the blessings you received, answered prayers and surprises. The Lord is good.
- Praise Him because the evil in 2021 shall not be our part.
- Thank Him for all the blessings He has in store for us in 2021. The Lord is good and He will do us good. Amen.
