We can proclaim God’s Word judicially in declaring freedom and blessing for our family.
Scripture: Hebrews 9:18-26
In Hebrews 9:18-26 we are told that without the shedding of blood there is no remission. Christ
Himself shed His Blood and presented His Blood in the Heavenly Temple. He offered once for
all to put away sin with the sacrifice of Himself. This is a completed work and it enables us to
pray, ‘Father in Jesus’ name we declare Your judgment, the putting away of sin, through the
shedding of Christ’s Blood over our family, including every child and grandchild. They are free
to serve You, O Living God. Let that freedom come in Jesus’ name. Make them the head and not
the tail, above and not beneath. Let no weapon formed against them prosper. Make them free to
serve You, our Mighty God in Jesus’ name! Bring them into the quality of freedom which will
open the door to intimacy, full obedience and commitment to their destiny!’ This is a prayer we
can pray with confidence. We can proclaim God’s Word judicially in declaring freedom and
blessing for our family.
1 Kings 3:28 says, “And all Israel heard of the judgment which the King had
rendered; and they feared the King, for they saw that the wisdom of God was in
him to administer justice.” If we cannot bring justice into the middle of our
circumstances by declaring the Word of the Lord, then we are missing God’s call and the
fullness of what Jesus bought and paid for.
The 2021 is coming to an end, briefly pause and examine your life, family, marriage,
business, body of believers, province, nation etc. especially in the light of intimacy with
God, obedience, word intake and prayer life: Identify areas of lapses, Repent, and ask
the Lord’s help to enable you correct them. (Acts 3:19; Ps 124:8)
We’re supposed to make a difference and the difference we can make is bringing
justice into the midst of injustice especially when the injustice is fostered by “out
of control” citizenry. There is a great clash between the government of God and
the government of man.
Pray that we will indeed be the difference.
Prayer….
We must pray and get rid of certain things that are inflicted by familiar spirits:
Throne-takers; rest robbers and destiny robbers. They stop you from enjoying the
rest of God by getting you to strive and struggle in your own strength, whereas
Jesus said “Come to Me, all who are weary and heavy-laden, and I will give you rest”
(Matt 11:28). For example
- Doubt and unbelief. If you don’t believe it, you can never have it. Familiar spirits
want to keep you in that place where you are no danger to them, where every word
that comes out of your mouth builds a world of uncertainty and delusion around you.
