All fines are taken off the table and the law books are made neutral because the fines are paid Scripture: Ephesians 1:7, Colossians 2:13-14
This verse says, “In Him we have redemption through His blood, the forgiveness of sins, according to the riches of His grace.” What is redemption? Redemption is the issue of paying the penalty so that all fines are taken off the table and the law books are made neutral because the fines are paid-all penalty taken away! Judgment is satisfied. All the penalty is erased because it has been paid. Simply said, the account goes to zero. The Blood of Christ redeems us from all sin! Colossians 2:13-14 says, “And you, being dead in your trespasses and the uncircumcision of your flesh, He has made alive together with Him, having forgiven you all trespasses, having wiped out the handwriting of requirements that was against us, which was contrary to us. And He has taken it out of the way, having nailed it to the cross.” God through Jesus has taken our debt and wiped it out. This is the finest expression of the removal of debt we could never pay on our own. The debt of sin which could have bound us to perpetual darkness is removed! It is forever paid. That in itself is utterly freeing. We willingly and purposefully must decide to believe it and embrace it. Acceptance is a choice you and I must make!
