ARISE AND SILENCE SATAN
Scripture: Ephesians 1:7, 2 Corinthians 5:17
This verse says, “In Him we have redemption through His blood, the forgiveness of sins, according to the riches of His grace.” This is VERY POWERFUL. SIN IS THE INTRODUCTION OF ERROR INTO OUR GENES! FORGIVENESS IS THE REMOVAL OF GENOTYPE ERRORS! There is a supernatural cleansing of the conscience when we are a new man in Christ’. 2 Corinthians 5:17 says, “Therefore, if anyone is in Christ, he is a new creation; old things have passed away; behold all things have become new.” Forgiveness, of sins has a two-fold application. Number one it is the forgiving of sin so that it is over because the penalty is fully paid. Number two is the expunging of the record. The expunging of the record is the cleansing of the conscience so that we can have perfect faith to germinate the seed of God’s promises given in His Word. Without forgiveness of sin being this two-fold process, we would not have the faith to function as sons and daughters of God. Perilous times demand relentless warriors! This is the point at which Paul denounced his own past as gone, eradicated. He said, “I have lived in all good conscience before God until this day. I know nothing against myself. I testify to you this day, that I am innocent of the blood of all men.” There is no more record of failure, mistake, or sin. The only one to remind us is the devil and we are the ones who have to choose not to listen. We must choose to believe Scripture! Believing the Word demands acting on the Word! We choose to act -and silence the accuser of the brethren. We are the ones who must arise to silence his repetitions and lies and choose to reign over our thought life. When will the church grow up? Whenever we actively use the sword of the Word as our weapon, we defeat the enemy with the truth of God’s Word. We have access to God’s empowering grace to become fully established as sons and daughters of the Most High God.
