How many Christians taught ‘once saved, always saved’ will find themselves in a parallel place?

Scripture: Revelation. 3:1-6, Romans 8:14

In the book of Revelation, the deception on Sardis is self-righteousness because many think they are OK but are not! Because only a few are identified as those with undefiled garments. Most have defiled garments and don’t realize it, unaware their name is about to be blotted out of the Lamb’s Book of Life. How many Christians taught ‘once saved, always saved’ will find themselves in a parallel place? Perhaps more than we want to consider. Those who overcome are the true believers whose names are guaranteed in the Lamb’s Book-these are the truly righteous. Being led by the Spirit puts us in this place! Romans 8:14 says, “For as many as are led by the Spirit of God, these are sons of God.” The Lord knows our name and confesses it before the Father and the Holy Angels. Wow!

  • Pray for the out pouring of the Holy Spirit first upon your life, then upon the church so there will be heightened spiritual communion and fruitfulness on earth as it happened at Pentecost. (Joel 2:28-29; Acts 2:1-4)
  • Pray that the Holy Spirit will fill every member of the church with a strong desire to take volumes of God\’s word – reading, listening, studying meditating, confessing, memorizing, proclaiming and sharing it. The water of the word will purify and cleanse whoever receives it. (Col 3:16; Eph 5:26)
