God came, complete with fire
Scripture: Exodus 20:1-18
God came, complete with fire, the mountain smoked, and the word of the Lord came like
thunder. The people had been walking out this preparational process when suddenly the God
who is consuming fire shows up. He thunders out the Ten Commandments and the impact on
the people shows the degree of completion of the preparational price tag. Those who
completed the preparation could stand in the fire. Those who had not – could not. There was
only one who had completed the process and could stand in it – his name was Moses. It only
took one
