The Utterance Expected from a New Covenant Priest.
Scripture: Ecclesiastes 8:2-4; Revelation 1:4b-6
The issue of being made a king and a priest together is also the issue of what it means to be a
king in Scripture. Kings in Scripture had scribes who followed them around every place they
went for a very good reason because the word of a king became law. The scribe wrote it
down and once it was written, the routing process became the codification process, and it
became a statute. Ecclesiastes 8:4 says, “Where the word of a king is, there is power; And
who may say to him, ‘What are you doing?’” God says He has made us kings and priests,
it’s obvious He expects us to come before His throne making covenantal declarations that
are law in the realm of the spirit with the authority only He can give. This is the call of a
New Covenant priest. Are we doing our job? Are we participating? Are we declaring God’s
will over our friends and neighbors?
Prayer
Make covenantal declarations that are law in the realm of the spirit with the
authority only God can give from the heavenly realm.
Preceding the Ramadan season and the numerous demon-deities to whom
this season is dedicated, make a regular prophetic prayer proclamation of
Isaiah 40-66 over the territory (It does not take even one hour to pray
through this portion, and it would do well to pray through it daily.) In this
section of Isaiah, the LORD challenges the demon-deities whom Israel had
turned to.
