Scripture: Numbers 16:31-35

Verses 31 through 35 state, “Then it came to pass, as he finished speaking all these words,
that the ground split apart under them, and the earth opened its mouth and swallowed them
up, with their households and all the men with Korah, with all their goods. So they and all
those with them went down alive into the pit; the earth closed over them, and they perished
from among the congregation. Then all Israel who were around them fled at their cry, for they
said, ‘Lest the earth swallow us up also!’ And a fire came out from the LORD and consumed
the two hundred and fifty men who were offering incense.” Moses saved the nation with his
intercession. What did it cost? Korah, Dathan and Abiram and the two hundred and fifty
leaders who sided with them to defile and destroy the congregation, had to experience Jesus
the Judge! We would think that this display would have been enough to jerk the slack out of
the children of Israel, but when we go down to verse 41 we find they are still murmuring and
complaining. How is it they still didn’t get the message? We have a choice. We are either
going to walk with God or we are not! The end-time church is not a place for the timid of
heart. Jesus the Judge is coming whether we like it or not.
PRAYER
Thank You for supplying my every need—spiritually, physically, mentally, emotionally,
and financially—for the good and benefit of these grandchildren. Thank You for the
support of my church, family, and friends. Most of all, I rest knowing that You will never
leave me or forsake me. In the name of Jesus, I pray. Amen
