Embrace The Purpose God Demonstrates In Each Generation

Scripture: Luke 19:39-44

Jesus, toward the end of the Triumphal Entry when the Pharisees are rebuking Him for all the
praise spontaneously emerging from people – tells them if the crowd were silent the rocks
would cry out. But when He draws near to the city He begins to weep over Jerusalem and
speaks a word that is very confirming of what we find in Matthew 24 where He declares not
one stone shall be left upon another. In Luke 19:42-44 we find out why the stones must come
down, “If you had known, even you, especially in this your day, the things that make for your
peace! But now they are hidden from your eyes. For the days will come upon you when your
enemies build an embankment around you, surround you and close you in on every side, and
level you, and your children within you, to the ground; and they will not leave in you one
stone upon another, because you did not know the time of your visitation.”
Can you recognise your Kairos time every month? Has this journal helped you to the days
of your blessing every month. Has this journal helped you to know the time that difficulties
surface in regularity? The Church must embrace the purpose God demonstrates in its
generation. If they don’t, God is committed to destroying everything they relish which is
consistent with their dead religious activity. When going to church is like visiting the morgue,
you know we have missed an element of visitation and need to return to the Lord’s purpose in
order to fulfil His plan. All services in church are not supposed to be as usual and normal.
