FRIDAY, AUGUST 28

Read Judges 7:7-8,13-14; 1 Cor. 3:1-5

Observation: –

The release of the spirit makes it possible for us to abide increasingly in God. We touch the spirit of revelation in the Bible. Without effort we can use our spirit to receive divine revelation. When we are witnessing or preaching, we send forth God\’s word through our spirit. Furthermore, we may most spontaneously contact the spirit in others by our spirit. Whenever one speaks in our presence, we can \”size him up\”—evaluate what kind of person he is, what attitude he is taking, what sort of Christian he is, and what his need is. Our spirit can touch his spirit. And what is wonderful, others easily contact our spirit. With some, we only meet their thoughts, their emotions, or their will. After conversing with them for hours, we still have not met the real person, though we may both be Christians. The outer shell is too thick for others to touch the inner man. With the breaking of the outward man, the spirit begins to flow and is ever open to others.

Application

Consider ministering to some, the outer shell is so thick that you cannot touch their spirits. Sometimes you have to employ some drastic measures to bring their spirits to response level. We are spirits, having a soul and living in a body. When Jesus met Phillip he instantly knew him and all others he met. He did this as “Son of Man”. We need to learn to do the same if we will serve the Lord.

      Prayer

Pray that the Lord will indeed grant you a breakthrough in this area. You will learn these through fasting, self denial and consecration.

  • All creation in your own territory is waiting for the manifestation of Sons of the Lord; matured kingdom citizens to release it to its redemptive destiny by the proclamations of your mouth from The Lord (Rom 8:19-21). If the Lord has given us such license and lent strength to the voice of His sons, it is not for personal desires only but for establishing His Kingdom on earth as it is in heaven. As we do this we will be laying strong foundations for the coming season.
  • All creation can hear and receive instruction including the heavens, distant lands and peoples. Ask the Lord to give you a voice which creation will hear in this season so that when you make decrees, they will be obeyed.
  • Ask for a voice, which will speak to the heavens and the earth and the distant lands and peoples to hear and obey you from wherever He has placed you. Pray this for kingdom citizens everywhere. Deut 32:1-4, Isaiah 49:1-2, Hos 2:21
