FRIDAY, FEBRUARY 19

In Ephesians 1:5 we are told, “having predestined us to adoption as sons by Jesus Christ to Himself, according to the good pleasure of His will,…” Divine purpose progressively unfolds in the Sonship Gifts. First God chooses us for His family and purpose. In step one, we acknowledge and identity the purpose. In step two, He declares us holy, allowing the Holy Spirit to indwell us as His temple. In step three He declares us blameless, qualifying us to take our place in His family. Four is our actual legal adoption in heaven’s realm in the Father’s family. With the privileges come spiritual responsibilities.

Adoption activates things in the realm of the Spirit. The Greek word here is huiothesia. It is a compound Greek word and starts with huios meaning ‘sons.’ Then thesia signifies to place the selection of sons where He wants them in their assigned calling and destiny. This is the goal of our adoption into our Father’s family. This is not a Roman legal adoption but in Jewry when a son came to that significant age of 12, a son was placed into a chair and officially declared a son. Once we embrace what the Father is offering, we are adopted by Him and we become heirs. The covenants define our inheritance. Our adoption opens the door to our inheritance in Christ! It is time we started exploring our inheritance.

Today @ 6:49p.m is the first quarter moon

  • Pray that during this season, the quarter moons shall praise the Lord and declare His glory alone. (Psalm 19:1-2).
  • Pray that in the season of the quarter moons, your bow will be made strong by Jehovah. You will be an arrow in His hand. He will shoot you forth and you shall land on target, deep in the heart of the enemies of His purposes in every area of expression (Deut. 49:24, Psalm 127:4-5).
  • As often as possible in this month, prophesy Psalm 91 over your life, family and the Body of Christ in the territory
  • This is also the period when the wicked increase their enchantments, strength and fortification. Ignorance is not an excuse for lack of knowledge (1 Cor 14:38). It is a season to praise the Lord and ask that He release His joy in your life, your family and the Body of Christ. Praise Him through reading scriptures of praise, music, dance and every expression that will lift Him up. (Nehemiah 8:10, Psalm 68:1-4).
