“Loose him, because the Lord has need of him.”

Scripture: Luke 19:28-31

One thing we know about God. There is a timing in all He does. When Jesus was ready to triumphantly enter Jerusalem, He was missing a chief ingredient, which prompted Him to send two of His disciples to the village. Jesus said, “Go into the village opposite you, where as you enter you will find a colt tied, on which no one has ever sat. Loose him and bring him here. And if anyone asks you, ‘Why are you losing him?’ thus you shall say to him, ‘Because the Lord has need of him.’” What we learn from this passage is God gets what He wants in the season He needs it. The Lord retains the authority to requisition something from an owner for His use in fulfilling the divine plan. We need to realize God is in the requisitioning business: “Loose him, because the Lord has need of him.” Sometimes we need to say, “Loose it and let it go, the Lord has need of it.” Have you said that in intercession? Have you said that in prayer? Have you said that in an extended way?

Godly Wisdom in the Affairs of Life

Father, You said if anyone lacks wisdom, let him ask of You, and it shall be given him. Therefore, I ask in faith to be filled with the knowledge of Your will in all wisdom and spiritual understanding. I incline my ear unto wisdom and apply my heart to understanding.  In the name of Jesus, I receive skill, godly wisdom, and instruction. I discern and comprehend the words of understanding and insight. As a person of understanding, I acquire skill and attain sound counsel [so that I may be able to steer my course rightly].
