Ephesians 2:5-7:
It can be very helpful to understand how we walk according to the “prince of the air” over a region so as not to allow it to control or influence our lives. As a result, we can preach the truth that will set people free. It is by seeing how our nature was in conflict with the truth, and how desperately we need the grace of God that is given to us through the cross, that we are set free and can become true freedom fighters that help set others free. This is our purpose, as we see expounded in Eph 2:5-7.
The way we counter the evil “prince of the air,” is for us to be raised above him and seated with Christ. When we do this, and begin to see His glory and magnificence, it is much easier to discern and resist “the prince of the air.” For eternity, we will be uncovering layer after layer of the revelation of God\’s unfathomable ways, and His grace and love that is revealed through the cross. Even though we walked in all of the evil that required God Himself to suffer as He did because of our sin, He not only forgave and saved us, but He enabled us to sit with Him on His throne. This is so remarkable that very few people actually believe it enough to do it.
- This is a period when the occult increase their enchantments, strength and fortification.
- Pray that the Lord will be a stronghold (i.e. fortress, rock & strength) to His people especially in times of the crescent and quarter moons. (Nah 1:7).
- Pray that the weapon of enchantments against the righteous shall not prosper. (Is 54:17).
