The Baptism Of Fire Cleanses His People, But The Same Fire Works Against Those Who work Daily to Abort God’s Purposes.
Scripture: Isaiah 4
In Isaiah 4 we have a picture of God dealing with His people and how He purifies and what that completed purification releases. We are told in verses 3-6, “And it shall come to pass that he who is left in Zion and remains in Jerusalem will be called holy—everyone who is recorded among the living in Jerusalem. When the Lord has washed away the filth of the daughters of Zion, and purged the blood of Jerusalem from her midst, by the spirit of judgment and by the spirit of burning, then the Lord will create above every dwelling place of Mount Zion, and above her assemblies, a cloud and smoke by day and the shining of a flaming fire by night. For over all the glory there will be a covering. And there will be a tabernacle for shade in the daytime from the heat, for a place of refuge, and for a shelter from storm and rain.” We need to know that God has a Spirit of Judgment and a Spirit of Burning. It sounds like the baptism of fire. That baptism of fire cleanses His people and when that process is finished the same fire can be prayed on the enemy.

- Pray about our conduct and behaviour – Sexuality, Criminality, Religious, Occult Genetic factors are waiting for triggers but these are not an excuse for license to sin. God always makes a way to escape God desires to transform our lives. Will we cooperate with Him?
Nature & nurture etc – trigger of genetic switches to turn on or off certain genes – predisposition to: Disease – Heart, Cancer, Diabetes, Arthritis, sickle Cell (ss) liver, kidney, Mental health – depression etc. Addictions, Alcohol, Chemicals, Food, & Sexual issues.
