God, As The Creator, Shares His Creative Ability With Animals!!
Scripture: Genesis 1:21,22
Genesis 1:21,22 states, “So God created great sea creatures and every living thing that moves, with which the waters abounded, according to their kind, and every winged bird according to its kind. And God saw that it was good. And God blessed them, saying, ‘Be fruitful and multiply, and fill the waters in the seas, and let birds multiply on the earth.’” When God created the heavens and the earth, He was just beginning the process. Now that He had a heavens and an earth, it was time to populate it with what pleased Him. He created sea creatures like whales, dolphins, fish and turtles. He also created every winged bird, according to its kind. So, God created mammals and birds for the land and fish and a variety of creatures for the ocean. The interesting command those creatures are given is in verse 22 which says, “And God blessed them, saying, ‘Be fruitful and multiply, and fill the waters in the seas, and let birds multiply on the earth.’” We get a picture of God, as the Creator, sharing His creative ability with animals on land and in the sea, telling them to reproduce and multiply and fill the earth. It is obvious that God loves life and He wants it sustained. Life is what He is all about and life gives Him pleasure and company.
