Asking God For An Anointing That Will Turn A Nation.

Scripture: Matthew 18:1-4

Perhaps Matthew 18 is a good place for us to start reviewing the price of getting ready for
asking God for an anointing that will turn a nation. In Matthew 18 we see Jesus using a little
child as an example to the twelve. He says, “Assuredly I say to you, unless you are converted
and become as little children, you will by no means enter the kingdom of heaven.” Jesus was
saying to people who believed in Him, whose names were written in the Lamb’s Book of
Life, that they needed yet another conversion. This, of course, was a transition to the humility
demonstrated by the child. It appears that humility was threefold.

1 the child tuned in and was listening when the call came. Some people miss it because they

just don’t hear. He tuned in and was listening for The Master’s voice.

2 he answered when the call came. It is one thing to be listening. It’s entirely another thing

to be ready to answer even suspecting what the Lord might want.

3 the demonstration of humility was that he allowed the Lord to place him wherever He

wanted him. He knew from that point on his life was not his own. We need to walk these
three steps and be established in them in order that we might be fully prepared for what the
Lord has in the days ahead.
Prayer
 Pray to walk in these three steps and be established in them in order that we might be
fully prepared for what the Lord has in the days ahead.
 Declare Psalm 24 over all creation in your territory and command every ancient
gate and doorway of this month to be lifted up for the King of Glory to come in
so you can reign with Him over every aspect of family life, work/school life,
spiritual life, all input gates of your soul life.
