We Have A Purpose And That Purpose Is To Make People See The Manifest Wisdom Of God That Was Ordained For The Church To Rule Instead Of Principalities And Powers.
Scripture: Ephesians 3:5-12, 4:17-24
In Ephesians 3:5-12 we are told that we have a purpose and that purpose is to make people see the manifest wisdom of God that was ordained for the church to rule instead of principalities and powers. Verse 9 says God created all things through Jesus Christ and the purpose for us in the earth is to demonstrate to principalities and powers that they do not rule – God does. We do that through accepting His purpose and commanding it into existence. Those who stand against us have to see the glory of God through the rod of iron decimating their resistance. That is a missing link for the church. Ephesians 4:23-24 states, “…and be renewed in the spirit of your mind, and that you put on the new man which was created according to God, in true righteousness and holiness.\” If we do not put on the new man which was created according to God in righteousness and true holiness, then we cannot do the works created for us. When we were born again God\’s creative Hand moved on us, we at that time became a new creation. We can run from that new creation or we can accept what it says. Once we accept what it says, all guilt and all shame depart because that was the old man and we have chosen to put on the new man which was created according to God in righteousness and true holiness. That is now who we are! We will never have the confidence and the faith to walk in all God has for us if we do not put on the new man. Because the new man is a new creation, we have to accept that! We choose to believe what Jesus did for us and then watch His creative Hand begin to move on us, in us and through us!
Prayer….
- We must pray and get rid of certain things that are:
- Throne-takers; rest robbers and destiny robbers. They stop you from enjoying the rest of God by getting you to strive and struggle in your own strength, whereas Jesus said “Come to Me, all who are weary and heavy-laden, and I will give you rest” (Matt 11:28). For example:
God wants to deal with these things in my/your life. He wants you to receive a crown of royal identity. He wants you to receive your destiny. The trophy room of Satan is filled with those crowns, and it is filled with destinies of people who have missed theirs. We are going to go and get them back. Everything that belongs to us, everything that belongs to our family line that has been robbed in past generations, God is going to restore them to us. We are going to get things back we didn’t even know we had lost.
