God Offers To Give Us The Rain Faithfully Or “As The Ground Requires.”

Scripture: Joel 2:23-27,

Joel 2:23-27, “Be glad then, you children of Zion, And rejoice in the LORD your God; For He has given you the former rain faithfully, And He will cause the rain to come down for you – The former rain, And the latter rain in the first month. The threshing floors shall be full of wheat, And the vats shall overflow with new wine and oil. So I will restore to you the years that the swarming locust has eaten, The crawling locust, The consuming locust, And the chewing locust, My great army which I sent among you. You shall eat in plenty and be satisfied, And praise the name of the LORD your God, Who has dealt wondrously with you; And My people shall never be put to shame. Then you shall know that I am in the midst of Israel, And that I am the LORD your God And there is no other. My people shall never be put to shame.”

God promises that regardless of how dark the culture gets, and Nollywood. Hollywood continually competes with itself for the privilege of capturing the culture and leading it into ever deeper depths of darkness, in the midst of this headlong dive into depravity one prophetic promise rises with unparalleled light. God offers to give us the rain faithfully or “as the ground requires.”

Revival for the nation is not disqualified by the depth of darkness. The opposite is true. The depth of darkness determines the magnitude of the miraculous required. We must embrace God’s revealed plan by asking for the greatest outpouring ever seen because darkness resides at greater levels than before experienced.

 Pray for yourself and others around you to gain this favour from the Lord. Bring the rain!!  This time must not pass you by. Reflect and give him thanks after 31 days. Share your testimony with us. Don’t be silent. A closed mouth is a close destiny. Share the word of your testimony.
