God’s Way Is Best
Scripture: Isaiah 28:9-12
We may know how to claim our inheritance. We may be good at declaring, “Healing is mine.
Provision is mine!” But how can we get the tremendous power of the Holy Spirit that resides
on the inside of us — the power that raised Jesus from the dead — out onto the problems that
face us so those blessings can be manifested in our lives? And even more importantly, how
can we discover our divine call? Well, are we so wise that we can find a better way to answer
those questions than the way God gave us when He designated the Holy Spirit to come and
re-present us? You see, God didn’t trust us to any of the many thousands of angels in His
service. We’re worth more than that to Him. No, He went as high as He could go and
entrusted us to the Holy Spirit
Isaiah 28:9-12 says, “Whom will he teach knowledge? And whom will he make to
understand the message? Those just weaned from milk? Those just drawn from the breasts?
For precept must be upon precept, precept upon precept, Line upon line, line upon line, Here
a little, there a little.’ For with stammering lips and another tongue He will speak to this
people, To whom He said, ‘This is the rest with which You may cause the weary to rest ,’And,‘ This is the refreshing’; Yet they would not hear.” Does God give everything to babies? Of course, the answer is, no! Growth comes in a step by step line. It is linear. Precept upon precept and line upon line, here a little bit and there a little bit. God has a process for growth and development. With stammering lips and
another tongue He will speak to this people to whom He said, this is the rest with which you
may cause the weary to rest and to be refreshed. Rest in every situation only comes when we
get God’s answer to it so that there is inner confidence that a solution is on the way. What is
He talking about here? He is talking about the anointing to solve problems and the anointing
to move mountains.
- He is talking about the anointing that connects us with the power needed in any given
situation. - Rest and refreshing come when problems are solved.
- Rest comes when there is assurance the mountain is moved.
- Rest comes when the enemy bows. God is clear in this passage.
- Tongues is the path that connects us with God’s power in any given situation to move
mountains as well as to walk in God’s anointed composure to keep overcoming while we are
waiting for the movement to take place. - When mountains are not yet moving and problems still persist, it is time to pray, pray,
pray and keep praying in the Spirit! - In the meanwhile as we pray in the spirit angels are on assignments to make
CONNECTIONS
PRAYER IS OUR PART TO SET FORCES IN MOTION. Are we doing our part or
are we just hoping the mountain will move? For many of us, if a complaint would move
it, it would be gone by now. We have tried everything else. Let’s give tongues the time it
deserves. How about a decade of praying in tongues over that persistent mountain! It is
our choice.
