We have truly become the inheritance and as a result, we have a standard of behavior
that is our goal. We represent God! 1 Corinthians 6:20

says, “Therefore be imitators of God as dear children. And walk in love, as Christ also has
loved us and given Himself for us, an offering and a sacrifice to God for a sweet-smelling
aroma.” The first phrase in the New Living Translation puts it this way, “Imitate God,
therefore in everything you do…” and the Amplified Classic Edition says, “…copy Him and
follow His example…” We are to aim toward acting like, thinking like, and walking like the
God who’s Family we are!
