Scripture: Acts 4:23-26
In Acts 4:23-26 believers came into agreement regarding what they were to pray. They were going to pray for judgment based on God’s Word. These verses say, “And being let go, they went to their own companions and reported all that the chief priests and elders had said to them. So when they heard that, they raised their voice to God with one accord and said: ‘Lord, You are God, who made heaven and earth and the sea, and all that is in them, who by the mouth of Your servant David have said: “Why did the nations rage, And the people plot vain things? The kings of the earth took their stand, And the rulers were gathered together Against the Lord and against His Christ.” In their prayer they quoted a portion of Psalm 2 a prayer of King David. Those early believers took a stand and they prayed judgment on the leaders who were ruling unjustly. We need to be aware of that today because we can employ our spiritual exousia and we can pray judgment over all the demonic dunamis coming out of evil leaders. As sons and daughters of God there will be times we will be led forth in exousia to pray bold prayers to halt the onslaught of death and destruction. Where were the disciples led to discover the appropriate prayers to pray? They were led to King David’s Psalms. If it was appropriate for David to pray, then it was acceptable for the disciples to echo. We should not hesitate to pray the Psalm’s prayers declaring termination of the enemy. If the Holy Spirit leads, saints, pray it! Covenant mercy to the righteous means that ‘Hamans’ have to die.
Today @ 2:32a.m. is the new moon.
- The occasion of the new moon is a time to observe the ordinance of God in which all believers must celebrate God with songs of praise, worship, the blowing of trumpets etc.
- Create that atmosphere of celebration and worship in your home, at work, and everywhere you are led to go as you sing and make melody in your heart to God (Is 66:23; Ps 81:3; Eph 5:19).
- The greatest religious observance of the Islamic calendar, the fasting season of Ramadan 2021 will commence on April 12 until May 12 2021.
- Fasting during the month of Ramadan is one of the Five Pillars of Islam. The month is spent by Muslims fasting during the daylight hours from dawn to sunset. Muhammad told his followers that the gates of Heaven would be open all the month and the gates of Hell (Jahannam) would be closed.
- Pray for Jesus\’s visitation to individuals and people groups by dreams and visions as millions seek forgiveness of sins they committed in the past year.
- Pray for the salvation of many who are seeking Jehovah diligently through this practice.
