- Command the new moon to declare the glory of God in this festive season and to ignore any other voice giving it instruction to do anything contrary to God’s original ordination and purpose for it (Gen 1:14-19, Ps 104:19, Psalm 148:3).
- During this season, pray that wherever the enemy is calling for your blood, or that of anyone in your family, community, church or nation; the blood of Jesus which speaks better things than that of the blood of Abel, will answer on your behalf and stay the hand of destruction until all come to the knowledge of God’s truth concerning such a time as this.

- When the goal-posts in a game are down the game is over, as in the great game of life. Whatever the advantages of a man may be, without some definite object before us, some standard which we are earnestly striving to reach, we cannot expect to attain to any great height: socially , spiritually, mentally and physically. When Jesus announced His presence He set the goals and the EFFORT required reaching that goal. God gives nothing of value to man unmatched by diligence of labour and we can expect to overcome difficulties only by grace and strong determined efforts. Everyman should have a mark in view and pursue it steadily. He should not be turned from his course by other objectives ever so attractive.
