- Pray for the spirit of repentance and supplication to come upon the Church in South Sudan so as to rally their families, communities and nation to the place of deep repentance over spiritual idolatry, violence and bloodshed, pride etc. and prophetic activities for redeeming the land as the nation gathers to commemorate its independence day but also as they hold the national week of prayer and repentance and restoration.
- Repent of spiritual idolatry and its effects including ancestral worship, worship of the queen of heaven in various forms including Islam, sorcery and witchcraft, and other occult practices
- Read Jeremiah 1:4-10 – Pray that Kingdom citizens in this nation will begin to see the need to deal with the idolatrous foundations of the nation; tear down, destroy and overthrow them; and then build, plant and establish Godly foundations individually, in families, communities and at the national level.
