Elijah is another example. 1Ki 18:1 ¶ And it came to pass after many days, that the word of the LORD came to Elijah in the third year, saying, Go, shew thyself unto Ahab; and I will send rain upon the earth. 1Ki 18:41 ¶ And Elijah said unto Ahab, Get thee up, eat and drink; for there is a sound of abundance of rain. {a sound…: or, a sound of a noise of rain} 42 So Ahab went up to eat and to drink. And Elijah went up to the top of Carmel; and he cast himself down upon the earth, and put his face between his knees,43 And said to his servant, Go up now, look toward the sea. And he went up, and looked, and said, there is nothing. And he said, Go again seven times.
t is really a serious matter when the natural encounters the super-natural. When we say- “reality of the physical is more real than the reality in the spirit realm”. When a barren woman is desperate to have a child and a pastor is looking at empty chairs and he has prayed and fasted and seen nothing but empty chairs, you almost conclude that it is cruel to say this but the truth of God remains unchanged.
Today @ 3:43a.m is the full moon
- The magnetic pull of the moon on the earth is greatest at full moon; affecting the ebb tide (receding tidal movement away from the land) and the ebb flow of water in the bodies of all creatures resulting in unusual emotional and psychological sensitivity.
- Come against the spirit of madness in families, especially those who are pregnant and hypertensive.
- Thank God for the full moon of grace and favour. (Ps 121)
- Pray that members of the body of Christ will take advantage of this season of the full moon to channel this sensitivity into the waters of the Word (Eph. 5:26).
- As you take in more of the word, pray that the clear water of life from God’s throne should flow through you and every child of God flushing out all pollutions and contaminants of their waters both physically and spiritually. (Rev 22:1)
