Can we accept upon our shoulders the call many of us by tradition have relegated only to
those in full-time ministry? We must accept the reality that when God called a priesthood He
called the whole nation. He wanted every individual involved. They were to have a priestly
ministry and that ministry was to be carried out in relationship with God Himself. Priesthood
cannot be separated from relationship. Priesthood flows out of relationship. If you’re having a
hard time accepting the principles of the priesthood of the believer, then perhaps the issue
rests in a lack of development of relationship. Relationship with God grows through praise, prayer
, and just plain spending time talking to the Heavenly Father. Priesthood flows from relationships.
