Our Missions work and journey traverses among diverse ethnic tribes in Kaiama/Borgu area of Kwara; Niger and Ondo State, the Riverine area of Ondo State.
The Eggons and Afos in Budo-Sunday/ Vobera. We have been labouring among them for about 24years and we planted a thriving church that has planted six other churches in villages around them. These other churches are also reaching out to other tribes in neighbouring Benin and Togo. The Eggons and Afos are migrant farmers from Nasarawa State. They travel far and wide in search of fertile land for the purpose of farming. They cultivate yam, millet, guinea corn and lately soybeans. They are hardworking, generally hospitable and generous. Their background is animist, so some are still involved in syncretic practices. Pray that the Eggons/Afos in Budo Sunday/Vobera will serve the Lord wholly and be bold in sharing their Faith.
We are also working among the Bininiose of Palpla, Sumba, and Sola tribes and these migrant farmers also take the gospel to their tribes back in Benin Republic.
Pray for our work among the Diaspora tribes from Togo in Koko, Jonkunu, Lili, Oduye and London.
These tribes include Konkomba, Kabre and Tchocosis. Many of them have given their lives to Christ and are zealous now going back to their home tribes to do Mission Outreaches.
Tungaruwa: Missionary Daniel Adamu and his wife are Dukawas. They lead the field. They are assisted by Bulus who is also a Dukawa. Daniel is married to Rachael and they are blessed with five children.
They have started construction of the Mission house which has been in the pipeline before now.
There were series of attacks around our locations but these were repelled by security agents. The place is relatively peaceful now as the church is involved in one on one evangelistic outreaches.
Fulani women got converted and were baptized. They came to church briefly due to their nomadic lifestyle, we believe the seed sown in them will not die (Amen).
Faith Projects: Part of our faith projects include:
- Adoption of missionary couples
- Adoption of missionary children (School fees needed)
- Adoption of missionary staff
Many more needs to be supported. We covet your prayers to bring all these to come to pass; talk to God and people about these. You won’t lose your rewards.
