December derived its name from the Latin word “Decem” meaning ten (10). It is the tenth (10th) month following the Jewish sacred calendar and the Roman calendar (the month Tebeth), the fourth (4th) month following the Jewish civil calendar and the twelfth (12th) and last month of the year following the regular Gregorian calendar. It is a very busy month in terms of coming to the close of the Gregorian calendar, the festive season and many other events that mark the closing of this season.
It is the period of time man associates with commemorating the birth of Jesus Christ the Saviour. Concurrently, many on the enemy’s side continue with blood sacrifices and taking of oaths and vows before their deities to help them close the year well and cross over into the next year, hence the increased spate of accidents, catastrophes and natural disasters.
This time constitutes the rainy winter months. December is also the month with the shortest daylight hours of the year in the Northern Hemisphere (Winter Solstice) and the longest daylight hours of the year in the Southern Hemisphere (Summer Solstice) because the Sun crosses the Tropic of Capricorn in the Southern Hemisphere. The twelfth month represents a period of hunger (because of food scarcity) and old age.

It will be a season of restoration at various levels, restitution of that which has been taken wrongfully from you, rejoicing and returning to the place of inheritance at various levels of your life.
