We cannot forfeit the Harvest of the Nations
Scripture: Revelation 19:11, 12-15
Revelation 19:11 says, “Now I saw heaven opened, and behold, a white horse. And He who
sat on him was called Faithful and True, and in righteousness He judges and makes war.” If I
read Revelation19:11, the first thing I wonder is how does God make war? The answer to
most biblical questions is in the context of Scripture. Surely the Word shows us and since
context determines meaning, we review verses 12-15 for the answer. Verses 12-15 state, “His
eyes were like a flame of fire, and on His head were many crowns. He had a name written
that no one knew except Himself. He was clothed with a robe dipped in blood, and His name
is called The Word of God. And the armies in heaven, clothed in fine linen, white and clean,
followed Him on white horses. ……”
First of all, I notice in verse 14, that the armies in heaven dressed in fine linen, white and
clean followed Him. And it appears that out of His mouth goes a sharp sword and with the
words of His mouth, He strikes the nations and rules them with a Rod of Iron. He also treads
the winepress of the fierceness and the wrath of Almighty God. So Jesus the King, in
Revelation consistently demonstrates the fierceness and the wrath of God. I believe that
when the fierceness and the wrath of God are demonstrated, multitudes of people will get
saved. There is practically zero fear of God in the land. Consequently, there are few
politicians doing righteousness. Until the fear of the Lord is restored, the politicians will
continue to do unrighteousness. Either God’s Kings demonstrate fierceness and wrath,
or we forfeit the harvest of nations.
Prayer
We repent of years of neglect and inaction concerning the governance of our nations in
Jesus name.
