God’s School of the Spirit is not easy, but it is worth the price.

Genesis 39:19-20

When Potiphar came home, his wife lied about Joseph and accused him of trying to rape her. Potiphar was angry and put Joseph into prison, the section where the king’s prisoners were confined. Is this the kind of blessing we should expect from God when we are called to be a redeemer? Joseph was betrayed, sold into slavery, and was betrayed again just for walking in integrity. When we are called to be redeemers, we carry a call that demands a preparational path which will mold us into Christlikeness. God is molding within us a heart for people who have had great injustice done to them. When we have walked it, we know the pain of it and know the agony of betrayal. So, when it is in our power to speak redemption into someone’s life, we will be prepared to do it. God’s School of the Spirit is not easy, but it is worth the price.

  • Pray that you will also derive the characteristic of the date palm which thrives in the harshest desert conditions but still bears succulent fruit to an old age. Pray this for the family and the church especially at such a time when we are facing a rising level of persecution in various parts of the world,
  • May the Lord grant you the nature of the fig tree which flourishes with the greatest luxuriance in those barren and stony situations where little else will grow. Its large size, and its abundance of five-lobed leaves render it a pleasant shade tree; and its fruit furnished a wholesome food, very much used in all the lands of the Bible. Thus, it was a symbol of peace and plenty. Pray this for the family, Ekklesia and your territory 1Ki 4:25 Mic 4:4 Zec 3:10 Joh 1:49-51.
