SATURDAY, DECEMBER 19

  • Pastors are required to pray for vast and varied challenges amongst their members and for others, deal with territorial issues beyond the scope of their community or even nation.
  • There isn’t enough prayer going up for these people whom we consider as the mirror of our spiritual society. Their fall reflects on the Body of Yeshua, and it is our responsibility as kingdom citizens, to pray more and complain less about our spiritual leaders no matter what kind of challenge exposes them. As the year ends, reflect on the above truths.
  • Many pastors are in a position of sickness, depression or even dying because of broken hearts. They become prey to the enemy.
  • Read Zechariah 13:7. When the shepherd is struck there comes a scattering of the sheep. Whether he is struck because of sin, worldliness or the works of the enemy, it affects the flock in one way or another.
  • We have become part of the scattering when we do not pray for and cover our pastors. Bring repentance for instances where you have become part of the accusers of the brethren by not correcting in love and by speaking with malicious intentions against wickedness in the pastor’s lives.
