Scripture: Matthew 10:29-31
God loves us. He has called us, and He has anointed us for this season, but as a G plumbline you and I have to be ready to give a testimony for Him and suffer the consequences in order that those who reject God might be brought to justice. What is that going to look like? It looks like persecution. It looks like potential jail, possibly death. We do not know. It could mean upheaval and disruption beyond what any of us have known. God has chosen us to rise up and take our place as kings and priests of full stature moving forward in righteousness and obedience as agents of glory and truth. Jesus died for a harvest of nations. What will it take to see that harvest? The answer to that question is what shapes our future!
• You can take a cup of seed to plant throughout a garden. However, when harvest time comes, you will not be expected to take that cup to harvest the crop. The crop that came from that cup of seed will require a much bigger capacity. (Psalm 126, Gal 6:9).
• Many people expect their capacity to remain the same after much sowing in various areas of their lives. They do not expect that there must be a stretching of their tents to accommodate the capacity of harvest that is coming. The stretching season is not very pleasant. In fact, it can be the far opposite of good.
• Ask the Lord to make you conscious of the process of stretching so that you will not lose heart but rather continue to rejoice in Him and focus on the end picture. (Isa 54:1-3, Gen 26:22, Isa 26:15).
