Do Not Be Entangled Again with A Yoke Of Bondage.
Scripture: 2 Timothy 1:3
2 Timothy 1:3 says, “I thank God, whom I serve with a pure conscience, as my forefathers did,
as without ceasing I remember you in my prayers night and day,…” Here we see another
declaration of Paul. Paul’s bold statements should build a pathway for us of our own potential
freedom in Christ. This freedom has already been purchased through His Blood! “Therefore if
the Son makes you free, you shall be free indeed.” Saints, why would we ever let the enemy take
us back into bondage when Christ has said, “Stand fast therefore in the liberty by which Christ
has made us free, and do not be entangled again with a yoke of bondage.” Let us move out of
bondage with an awareness of the reality that the past record of wrongdoings is a nonexistent
thing. Let’s choose to walk in the quality of freedom that Paul knew and walk our path with the
same confidence. Let’s continually say, ‘I am a son and daughter of the Most High God and He
has declared me free. I’ve been set free from the prison of sin. I can rule over it and I can do
anything God asks me to do!’ We truly are a people delivered, set free and ready to serve the
King of kings! When Jesus arose from the dead, the Father declared Him Savior and Judge.
Some may ask what if I mess up and sin? Please don’t! If accidentally it happens turn back with
great speed to God before Satan writes great charges against you.
These scientific evidence do not add to scripture but speaks to our modern day issues.
Pray about our conduct and behaviour – Sexuality, Criminality, Religious, Occult
Genetic factors are waiting for triggers but these are not an excuse for license to sin. God
always makes a way to escape God desires to transform our lives. Will we cooperate with
Him?
Nature & nurture etc – trigger of genetic switches to turn on or off certain genes –
predisposition to: Disease – Heart, Cancer, Diabetes, Arthritis, sickle Cell (ss) liver,
kidney, Mental health – depression etc. Addictions, Alcohol, Chemicals, Food, Sexual.
This is why in some cases COVID kills people because of these possible underlying
factors.
It is totally dependent on the Lord to bring about that unprecedented leap in status,
authority, anointing and grace, ability wisdom and other gifts. He does this when you
have entered the place of rest, lest you say it is your strength or intellect that caused you
to experience that level of translation. It is an act of the complete grace of God.
Pray that you will learn to rest in the Lord. Ask Him to teach you to work in rest, to
operate in rest and to understand that your role is to merely restore, rebuild, renew,
replenish that which He has already finished doing. You do it in rest. (Psa 95:6-11, 4:11)
