We are set free to be bound to Christ
Scripture: 2 Corinthians 5:17-21
2 Corinthians 5:17-21 says, “Therefore, if anyone is in Christ, he is a new creation; old things
have passed away; behold, all things have become new. Now all things are of God, who has
reconciled us to Himself through Jesus Christ, and has given us the ministry of reconciliation,
that is, that God was in Christ reconciling the world to Himself, not imputing their trespasses to
them, and has committed to us the word of reconciliation. Now then, we are ambassadors for
Christ, as though God were pleading through us: we implore you on Christ’s behalf, be
reconciled to God. For He made Him who knew no sin to be sin for us, that we might become the
righteousness of God in Him.” It is obvious that af-es-is (deliverance, forgiveness, liberty,
remission.) sets us free from being a prisoner to the old man by creating our new man in the
image and likeness of Jesus Christ. In Christ, He commits to us the Word of reconciliation.
Man’s freedom is not one that permits us to continue in sin but binds us to Christ. What Christ
does will not simply take us from prison but set us free from sin itself, giving us power over sin.
God makes us completely victorious!
Pray for the Transformation of your family at the genetic level.
We get half your genes from your mum and half from your dad, just as they got half each from
their parents, and back and back generation upon generation. Genes are pieces of DNA passed
from parent to offspring in their chromosomes that contain hereditary information. Therefore,
you carry a record of all past generations back to Adam & Eve!!
Praying for unprecedented levels of harvest into the kingdom of God
God has said that there will be unprecedented levels of harvest into the kingdom of God.
Starting with yourself, pray that God will raise labourers to bring the harvest of souls into
His kingdom.
When the Holy Spirit shows you how many are lost and heading for eternal destruction in
hell, you will not rest while your relations, friends, co-workers, school mates, even fellow
church goers remain unsaved. Pray for a burden for those lost souls.
Ask God to show you the target group of people you should pray for and even witness
Jesus to, and give you grace and boldness to obey. (2 Cor 9:8; Prov 28:1)
