Scripture: Psalm 106:1-3

The first three verses of Psalm 106 say, “Praise the LORD! Oh, give thanks to the LORD, for
He is good! For His mercy endures forever. Who can utter the mighty acts of the LORD? Or
can declare all His praise? Blessed are those who keep justice, And he who does

righteousness at all times!” In this season God is looking for those who keep justice. The
Hebrew word here is mish-pawt, which is the verdict pronounced judicially or the word of a
shaw-fat (a judge). In a kairos of favour God is looking for judgment from the mouth of His
people after they have proved that they are consistently walking in righteousness. Keeping
God’s judgment is an assignment that is far from us because of our tradition and yet if we
understood covenant it would seem as natural as breathing.
PRAYER
Prayer does not cause faith to work, but faith causes prayer to work. Therefore, any
prayer problem is the result of a lack of knowledge, a wrong motive, or the presence of
doubt—doubt in the integrity of the Word and the ability of God to stand behind His
promises or the statements of fact in the Word.
