Acts of Kindness
“This day in all you do, do it with kindness. For it is in kindness and tenderhearted love that I am found. Reach out through acts of kindness and I will be found of you.”
Prophetic Scripture: And be ye kind one to another, tenderhearted, forgiving one another, even as God for Christ’s sake hath forgiven you (Ephesians 4:32).
I once heard about a group of Christians who formed a committee to criticize and bring a lawsuit against a particular ministry because they didn’t like some things. Now, I don’t know all the details of the story, so this is not to say who was right or wrong in the situation. However, what I do know is that when we lash out in anger or backbiting and create attempts to tear down one another, we are missing one important ingredient—kindness. God isn’t interested in our great position on the issue when promoting our opinion requires us to resort to hateful gestures.
Instead, God looks for kindness, especially when we don’t feel like being kind. We should find tenderness in our hearts rather than be cold and harsh, especially when we think we are right. Decide how it would feel if others treated you the way you treat them. It’s always good to err on the side of kindness, because one day you may be on the side of needing the kindness. Do something kind for someone today. Without question, you will find God right there participating in it with you.
Prayer: Dear Lord, teach me how to walk in kindness today. I ask You to forgive me for treating others un kindly at times. Give me a tender heart today and show me how to be a person who is kind. I know that if I sow acts of kindness, I will reap the same. I thank You, Lord, for that truth today. In Jesus’ Name, amen.
- Nations all around Israel have continue to strengthen themselves militarily with the purpose of annihilating her. The UN passed the nuclear deal with Iran, while Hezbollah continues to present themselves as the new anti-ISIS face thus receiving arms from the western world to fight the war against ISIS. Their plan is to strengthen themselves and prepare for an all-out war against Israel when they finish with ISIS.
- Read Dan 12.1; thank the Lord that the great warring arch-angel Michael is the principality that watches over Israel. Call forth for angelic assistance to protect that nation against all these hidden agendas to destroy her. The Lord has always protected His people, He will not fail to protect them again.
- Proclaim Psalm 83 and Isa 49 over Israel. From the womb of time, the Lord already marked and called this nation for His own purpose. His purposes must continue to be fulfilled and His will done in the face of so much contrariness from the nations all around. Even in this season, the Lord will rescue Israel and scatter all her enemies for His own name’s sake.
