Jesus The Chief Cornerstone
Scripture: Acts 4:5-12
Jesus Himself is the first foundational principle upon which we build stability for our times and seasons, and is therefore our first Pillar Jesus. Now in Acts 4, this is made very clear. Speaking of Jesus in verses 11 and 12, the author declared, “Jesus is the stone which was rejected by you builders which has become the chief cornerstone, nor is there salvation in any other for there is no other name under heaven give whereby men must be saved.” Jesus is the ultimate foundation stone upon which we build, and the very first pillar which we must learn to lean on for stability. When we give our lives to Jesus, we live according to His Word. While warfare is inevitable and will come, ordering our lives around service to Christ is the first step in making our lives more stable.
Acknowledging What Is In You -Phm 1:6.

I will walk in faith. I will walk by faith and not by sight. I choose to believe the Word of God over what my eyes show me. I choose to believe the report of God over the report of man. God’s Word is final authority in my life. If He said it, I believe it! It is settled!
I will walk by God’s Word, and I will not allow deception. I will not allow any thoughts contrary to the Word of God. I will pull down strongholds of wrong doctrine, wrong teaching, or anything that exalts itself against the knowledge of God. I will pull them down and bring them to captivity.
I will let free the words of God. I will let them free through my mouth. I will let them free through my mind. I will think the thoughts of God, thoughts of goodwill toward all men.
I let the mind of Christ dwell in me. I have that mind because I am born again. I am a new creature, in Christ. Old things are passed away; all things have become new. All things are of God.
