How many Christians taught ‘once saved, always saved’ will find themselves in a parallel place?

Scripture: Revelation. 3:14-22

Laodicea is the place where mammon rules. They are lukewarm and don’t know it! They say they are rich but spiritually are just the opposite! Being blind to the fact they were wretched, miserable, poor, blind, and naked. Their testimony was, “I am rich, have become wealthy, and need nothing!” They had become wealthy. They were awash in money but trusted in it and had grown far from dependence on God. What a horrible situation to live in and yet this is the picture of the church in the last days. How does the church overcome its own wealth? Believers could listen to the Spirit and obey. They could repent. They could pray in the Spirit until a breakthrough comes or they could submit to the Holy Spirit’s fire for cleansing and freedom!

  • Pray for the out pouring of the Holy Spirit first upon your life, then upon the church so there will be heightened spiritual communion and fruitfulness on earth as it happened at Pentecost. (Joel 2:28-29; Acts 2:1-4)
  • Pray that the Holy Spirit will fill every member of the church with a strong desire to take volumes of God\’s word – reading, listening, studying meditating, confessing, memorizing, proclaiming and sharing it. The water of the word will purify and cleanse whoever receives it. (Col 3:16; Eph 5:26)
