Transformation from rags to royal garments

Scripture: Romans 12:1-2

This passage says, “I beseech you therefore, brethren, by the mercies of God, that you present your bodies a living sacrifice, holy, acceptable to God, which is your reasonable service. And do not be conformed to this world, but be transformed by the renewing of your mind, that you may prove what is that good and acceptable and perfect will of God.” The Greek word for being transformed is metamorphosis. As we renew our mind, we experience a process like changing clothes from rags to royal garments. We remove any blame, shame or guilt concerning past behavior by spiritual blood-washing and physical baptism where the old man dies. Why listen to condemning voices? If we actually do Romans 12:1-2 and submit to the transformation process we prove what is that good, acceptable, and perfect will of God. The overshadowing, brooding, vibrating of the Holy Spirit produces change. Gen 1:2. The Spirit of God was moving (hovering, brooding, vibrating) over the face of the waters. Af-es-is is the process of remission at work in us. How rich with depth and meaning is the powerful Blood of Christ! The penalty is gone. The memory of it is gone. The record of it is gone. We are pardoned, forgiven, released from penalty. The bondage is broken, and imprisonment is over and the record is erased. We are given a fresh start. This should cause each and every one of us to pause in wonder and rejoice. Act 9:3 As he was travelling, it happened that he was approaching Damascus, and suddenly a light from heaven flashed around him.  The overshadowing causes the vibrating energy of Holy Spirit and results in:– Shaking, Realignment, Resonance, and Harmony with our identity and Destiny. The reason we do not see some people totally free is that we never get to the “bottom” of the matter (where the Holy Spirit penetrates the the depts of our beings, so that there are no more carry overs.

  • Pray for that powerful overshadowing that causes the vibrating energy of Holy Spirit bringing – Shaking, Realignment, Resonance, and Harmony with our identity and Destiny.
  • Read Matt 8:24-27These are turbulent times morally, financially, politically, socially, and even in weather patterns. No matter what turbulence there is in the world, the seasons of the Lord continue unperturbed. Pray for the Holy Spirit’s rest.
  • Pray that your trust in the Lord will increase in this season and you will enter into His rest no matter the circumstances you are in.
  • As you rest in Him, may the great storms bring about a great calm; pray for your family, the Church, and territory
  • Read Psalm 32:6-7: Even as Noah’s family was saved in the ark, ask Jesus to create and ark for you, a hiding place while the world is drowning in human and natural disasters and refuses to receive Lord’s prophetic directions
