- Israel and people of Jewish descent will be recalling their deliverance from the Egyptian bondage and the great destruction on the gods of Egypt during the plagues that preceded the Passover.
- It is a season they recall how they turned from a motley crew of nomadic wanderers in the wilderness, to an organized formidable nation which has remained strong in the face of greatest opposition and attempted decimation. It is a season when they pray for the coming of their Messiah even though this is a vain expectation as He has already come and is rather waiting for them to recognize and accept Him whom they pierced
- Read Acts 9:1-19 Pray that the veil of blindness will be lifted off the eyes of many who are making these observances and endeavor to stick close to their laws.
- Pray that in the same way that Jesus Himself appeared to Saul the zealous Pharisee on the road of Damascus, many will have an encounter that will unveil them to Jesus the risen Messiah.
