- Life and death are in the power of your tongue. You have the authority to name the situations and circumstances you have prophetically. Just the same way that God brought the creatures he created to Adam to see whatever he would call them, and whatsoever Adam called them, is the name still in use today. (Gen 2:19-20) Ask the Lord to put a guard over your mouth so that you will have only a confession that brings life (Ps. 141:3-4)
- God said He is refining the confessions of His people in this season so they will call the situations and circumstances He allows into their lives, the very names He wants them to call them by, because He is filling their mouths with His words so He can plant the heavens, lay the foundations of the earth and call the church His people. (Isa 50:4, Isa 51:16)
- Pray that God will purge and refine the confessions of the members of the body of Christ with His refiner’s fire so their words can be pure as gold and silver. (Col 4:6, Pro 25:11, Ps 12:6)
- Pray that God’s people will understand and submit to the processes God is taking them through especially in relation to their utterances, so they will not speak unadvisedly with their lips against God. (Job 32:8; James 4:7a; Ps 106:33)
