Hebron Means the Place Of Communion With God And Is Where We Receive Divine Direction But Also Where We Meet The Giants And Our Greatest Resistance.

Scripture: Numbers 13:21-22

In verse 22 we discover who the giants were. But more important initially is we discover where they met them. Verse 22 says, “And they went up through the South and came to Hebron; Ahiman, Sheshai, and Talmai, the descendants of Anak, were there. (Now Hebron was built seven years before Zoan in Egypt.)” The spies found the giants in Hebron. This speaks volumes to us about what we face as we attempt to carry out the will of God. Hebron means the place of communion with God and is where we receive divine direction but also where we meet the giants and our greatest resistance. Once we receive the purpose and plan of God committing to it, then we face the impossibility. Are we adhering to the call, or moaning over the impossibility of it? We must arise and choose right.

Acknowledging what is in you-Phm 1:6

The Holy Spirit fills me, completely, to overflowing. I am baptized in the Spirit, immersed, influenced, and controlled. In the name of Jesus, the Holy Spirit leads and guides me into all truth, truth that I walk in, holding forth the Word of life. We are lights in darkness, lights to this world. The Light of the world is in me, and I am a light to the world. My light will shine, and by my light, I will glorify God.

My works will glorify God, my words will glorify God, and my thoughts will glorify God. I bring every thought into captivity, and I allow no thoughts contrary to the Word and knowledge of God.
