The Holy Spirit Deals With People And Brings Repentance So They May Have Inheritance Scripture: Genesis 38:27-30

In verses 27-30, Tamar gave birth to twins, Perez and Zerah. It is interesting that it’s not just a biblical picture of how the Holy Spirit deals with people and brings repentance, but also how the Holy Spirit ends a streak of rebellion. It also speaks volumes to us when we look at what it means to be redeemed from sin. God is not just after truth, He wants redemption. God redeemed Tamar’s sin by exposing Judah’s greater sin, fulfilling the law by raising up seed from Tamar and blessing the linage as only God can! God honored Tamar’s faith and gave her children within her Biblical family through repentance, gaining restoration.
