Have we ever stepped into the position God ordained for you? Do you know how
much authority you have been given?
Scripture: Genesis 2:15-17
In verses 15 through 17 of Genesis 2 we find, “Then the Lord God took the man and put him
in the garden of Eden to tend and keep it. And the Lord God commanded the man, saying,
‘Of every tree of the garden you may freely eat; but of the tree of the knowledge of good and
evil you shall not eat, for in the day that you eat of it you shall surely die.’” So immediately
after God makes man a co-creator, He establishes solid clear boundaries and limitations on
that freedom. Man’s disobedience to God’s will, as the pinnacle position of His creation,
would have a dramatic devastating impact on the entire creation. If man messes up the
creation is it man then who must straighten it out? Did God give man dominion? If so, it will
have to be a man who comes and takes away the sin Adam and Eve let in the door. We
already know the answer to the question, but what does it mean for us concerning the
covenant and our priesthood? Have we ever stepped into the position God ordained for us?
Do we know how much authority we have been given?
Prayer
Man messed up the provision God made for humanity. It must be man that must
repair it with God’s help. Jesus showed us the way. This is Priesthood. PRAY YOU
WILL TAKE YOUR PLACE.
